Private-company EBITDA multiples up in 2Q2023

After a downward slide in the fourth quarter of 2022 and the first quarter of 2023, the median selling price-to-EBITDA multiple has jumped to 4.0x in the second quarter of 2023 (see the graph below), according to the latest issue of the DealStats Value Index (DVI).
